1999 Shelby Series 1—Here is an extremely rare Supercharged Shelby Series 1. There were only 249 Series 1’s produced in 1999. Of that, only a handful were supercharged, which was an additional cost of $22,000 . This increased the horsepower to 500, a 180 horsepower increase over the non-supercharged model. This car is also equipped with the big brake package which was a $10,000 option. Out of all the Shelby Series 1’s produced, this is probably the most significant one of the bunch. It is car number 75. Built and numbered to commemorate Carroll Shelby’s 75th birthday. It was sold for charity at his 75th birthday party where it was purchased by Robert Petersen of Petersen Publishing, the founder of Hot Rod and Motor Trend magazine. 1968 Saab 95 V4 with AC—Originally from California, this fully restored AACA winner is finished in Red with its original Red interior. Here is a very rare GT500KR. It is one of only 100 vista blue cars, the rarest of all the colors offered. The car is on consignment, it belongs to my neighbor who purchased it new. 1955 MGTF 1500 — A nice TF finished in British Racing Green with Dark Green leather seats , Black canvas top. side curtains, and tonneau cover. 1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III—This is an older, body off restoration. It is finished in Colorado Red with its very nice original interior. It has a Black convertible top, tonneau, and boot cover. 1966 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III—HBJ8L32519 The same owner since 1972. It had a full restoration when it had 60,500 miles on it. The restoration began in 2003 by the premier Austin Healey and British car specialist Tskuris Classics in Lakeland, FL. It was completed in March 2006 with $94,836 spent. It is in pristine show condition with only 500 miles driven since the restoration. It was done in its original color Old English White with Black leather, Black Everflex top and boot cover. The body and paint are show quality. It has a highly detailed undercarriage and engine compartment. (See photos). All mechanics and drivetrain are rebuilt along with a rebuilt steering box. It has an aluminum gas tank, new fuel and gas lines, wire harness, rebuilt gauges, along with alot of updrades including 60 spoke Dayton Cchrome wires, Ansa Exhaust, dual fuel pumps, and heat protector over transmission cover. 1975 Honda CR250M Elsinore—A legend in its own time. Introduced in 1973 it was Honda’s first 2 stroke production motorcross racer. Factory rider Gary Jones rode a stock Elsinore to a national championship in 1973. This stock original , hard-to-find Elsinore 1975 CR250M is all original including the tires. It has a small knee impression on the left side of the tank. Originally from a Texas family, it was used around the ranch but never used for its purpose. It starts easily and runs out excellent. 1937 MG SA with TICKFORD 3 Position Drophead Coupe Body
75 HP 2322cc Overhead Valve Inline Six Cylinder Engine
The largest and one of the most valuable Pre War MGs produced. This MG SA is in restored condition. Painted in a Tan and Cream two tone color combination. The interior is a matching Cream leather upholstery with Tan Wilton wool carpets and a matching Tan canvas top. It has a refinished Walnut dash and trim and the original gold colored gauges have been restored. A fully rebuilt, detailed engine and chassis show minimal wear. There is a complete tool kit on the cowl.
As was custom of the time, the MG factory supplied selected coachbuilders with the chassis for the fitting of the coachwork body. Salmons & Sons did the Tickford body on a regular basis but often chassis were shipped to other parts of Europe to other coach builders. MGSA is recognized today as a full classic by the Classic Car Club of America as well as the most beautiful MG ever made.
1966 Shelby GT350 Tribute (007)
w/ Rare Paxton Supercharger
Here is a beautifully restored Shelby GT350 Tribute car. Restoration started with a solid California Mustang Fastback. Lots of attention was given to detail to make this car look like the real deal. Take a good look at the photos and you’ll see why. The car was painted back to its original color of candy apple red, adding some white Lemans stripes. The drivetrain consists of a 298 V8 with a rare Paxton supercharger, 4 SPD transmission, and a 9 inch read end. The car also has front wheel disc brakes. The previous owner claims he had invested $85,000 in this project. He gave me a 1 inch binder full of receipts. When you view the photos you’ll see the detail like the wood steering, the 9K Shelby tach, the glove box door signed by Carroll Shelby. Even the spare is a 10 spoke Shelby wheel to match to 4 on the car. A other interesting thing on the car to note is the last 3 digits of the VIN is 007. The price is very fair and a lot less than what has been invested. Restoration work was done 2007-2009. The car looks great and draws attention where ever you go.
1999 Shelby Series 1 Supercharged—Here is an extremely rare Supercharged Shelby Series 1 with the big brake package. Of the 249 produced there were approximately 40 supercharged cars. This example has only 494 original miles since new. That’s basically less than 2 weeks of use on the average car. What makes this car unique over all the other Shelby Series 1s is that it was number 75 to commemorate Carroll Shelby’s birthday. It was never sold through a dealership but sold at a charity auction where it was purchased by Robert Petersen of Petersen Publishing, the founder of Hot Rod and Motortrend Magazine. He was a long time person friend of Carroll Shelby. The car was put in the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA. This museum is also the same location for Carroll Shelby’s memorial service. This car is a testament a man and his dream, his love and passion. It is the only car that Shelby designed and built from scratch. It is a modern day version on the legendary A/C Cobra of the 60’s.
