Very nice, original VW 11 window bus with 63,445 original miles with its original 1500cc 6 volt motor. Finished in Velvet Green and Cumulus White. I bought this bus when I was 50. It was the same color, year, and bench seat as I had when I was in high school. I had my fun in it for 7 years and now I want something else. I bought it from the original owner in Arizona. I have all registrations since new. I had its original paint when I purchased it. I reconditioned it to use it, trying to keep it as original as possible. The Velvet Green is new, the Cumulus White is original – I just buffed it out. I also painted the bumpers and the wheels. The seats are redone with original material. The door panels are original and the headliner is original. The dash has its original paint and is perfect. It has original working AM radio. The bus has all new gaskets, original Westfalia rack (see photo of badges), 6 volts Hella fog lights, original Owners Handbook, sales literature, German First Aid Kit, and rare original swing out cup holder. 1966 VW Beetle 1300—Ruby Red with Platinum interior, California “Black Plate” car with all documents and extensive service records. This bug has been restored to show condition. One owner since new. All the service records were carefully tracked and written down with dates and miles and what was done since new. Either written in by the original servicing dealer with factory stamps or by the original owner. We have four folders of documents, notes, receipts, and detailed letters which is how the owner made special requests for specific work to be performed. This car has always been well loved.
